Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a contract between you and SmartProtect Technologies Inc. (“SmartProtect”, “we”, “us”) governing your use of our websites, dashboard, and device agents (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old and the parent or legal guardian of any child you supervise with the Service, or otherwise legally authorized to monitor the devices you pair. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to monitoring a minor in your jurisdiction.

SmartProtect lets a parent set screen-time limits, content rules, and schedules, and review activity reported by an agent installed on a child’s device. Features depend on the platform and may change over time. The Service is a supervision aid and is not a substitute for parental judgment; we do not guarantee that every app, website, or activity will be detected or blocked.

• Provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• Notify us promptly at support@smartprotect.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to monitor any person you are not legally entitled to monitor.
• Reverse engineer, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Use the Service for any unlawful, harassing, or abusive purpose.

Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis until cancelled. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal; cancellation stops future charges and takes effect at the end of the current period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Prices may change with notice for future billing periods.

The Service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by SmartProtect and its licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal family use under these Terms.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SmartProtect will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we will handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms with a new “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
